When applying for Canadian citizenship, there is question about immigration status in other countries. What is the start date if H1 petition in US is approved in January, Visa is approved in February but entry to US happened in March. Assuming start date is March for immigration status? . Before entering the country there is no status. If it were continuation of status in US and the candidate left outside for stamping then it's a different story. Then it is continuation of status and there is no break. Thank You

Go with Feb(visa approved date). Date you entered US is not relevant since the question is about immigration status and not travel related

Thank You. Maybe off topic and ill make another post for it. I had entered Mexico in 2019, May 28 and had visa on arrival. It was for 30 days, im not sure it ended in June 26 or June 27. If we count May 28 then the end data will be June 26. They took away the card on departure, so i cannot refer to it. If anyone knows, please suggest. Thanks

Use a guess it should be fine, IRCC would be knowing well MX offers visa on arrival to certain nationalities. You can always include a letter of explanation and include it with your application as part of document submital

Thank You. I will do that. For all the h1b travel to US, i have listed the option-- Work and travel (working holiday) . Not business travel. I onder why they club work and travel together and say working holiday. Thanks again for your help
