question about imm5257 form

Hi there
my friend miss typed her last name in the imm5257 form, is there a chance for here to correct it?does this mistake affect the visa process? she has attached the scan of her pass in the passport field, she also has paid the fees and submitted her forms, the letter for colleting finger prints is sent to her, now she is very upset, I appreciate if anybody answer.

Hi,

She must send a Case Specific Enquiry (IRCC web form) + email to the visa office for her country/territory and request the visa office to correct this error. This (and similar errors for date/place of birth, etc) are common. Nothing to get upset about
