question about how to request for urgent processing

Hello,

my time line is as follows.

Application sent : May.10,2016
Application received : May.12
Not received AOR email.
No update(information) on E-CAS

I am thinking of requesting for urgent processing as I need to visit U.S. in several months.

Mu question is;

- if I request for urgent processing NOW, should I send new application with required documents? so that my already sent application
would not be reviewed by IRCC.

- If I don't want to send new application, should I wait for 'started processing' status in E-CAS and request for urgenet processing via
'case specific enquiry' ( https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx )

- which is better between requesting for urgent processing via the above 'case specific enquiry'(with uploading documents like e-ticket, proof of payment) and sending documents to IRCC by mail?

Did you happen to apply with only 730 days of residency or close to 730 days? If so, I would not request urgent processing.

Just looked through your history. It looks like you applied with only a week or two over 730 days. In that case I would not request urgent processing. This tends to result in CIC examining the application much more closely and longer processing times. I would leave the application as is.

Thanks for your advice.
I sent a application after staying about 745 days in a row.

Would it be good idea if I request for urgent processing right away via case specific enquirer if my application would be sent to secondary review ?

It is almost two month since I sent an application. But no AOR email and nothing in e-cas.
Should I just wait for updated information from IRCC ?
