Hi, it's my first post on this immigration forum, so sorry that my English isn't perfect :p

Today finally, I sent my CEC application via post to Sydney.I apply as single.
I am in long distance relationship with my fiance which is in Europe now. We are going to get married in August/ beginning of September 2015. Now, the approximately time for proceeding CEC is 13 months. I have couple questions:

- just in case when my process isn't be done before August, Can I leave Canada for wedding and come back without any problems at the begin of September ? I still have my work permit which expired on 14 September 2015.

- second option, if my application will be approved before wedding, and I will be still in Canada, I need to apply for PR Card before I leave Canada.
Average waiting time for PR Card is 94 days. So, I need to get a Confirmation of PR at least in May 2015 to apply for PR Card.

What about a Urgent processing of permanent resident card ? ( I can' paste here a hyperlink to CIC website :()
If I proof that I have airline tickets, dates of my wedding, etc., it is possible to get PR Card faster ?
Faster, means one month, because I can apply for urgent processing when my travel date is no more than 3 weeks away.
Does anyone use urgent process for PR Card ?

What do you think ? I know that's everything above looks like complicated a case by me, but If I think about getting married, I need to book a lot of things, pay some subscriptions etc. And when finally in next year, I find out couple weeks before weeding that I can't come back for my own wedding, that's ruin everything.
Thanks for help

yes, you can go and get married and then can come back. The only thing you will need to do is to inform CIC after getting married. And then add your spouse to your application.

Ok, But I forget about one things. To validate my PR status I need to make a landing, am I right ? So I don't need a PR Card to leave Canada before I make a first landing ?
If I get a confirmation of PR couple weeks before weeding, I become a permanent resident when I make a first landing in Canada. That's let me go to Europe for wedding and make a landing after.
To sum up, I need to make a weeding at the end of August :), to come back to Canada before my work permit expired , otherwise to become a PR after landing.

No, not really. If you get married before you land, then your COPR becomes invalid (your marital status has changed), you will have to add your spouse to your application, and you won't be able to land until after her application is processed too.

So - you could keep your plans, realizing that if you get married before you land, you will have to add your spouse and wait another several months.

Or, you could plan a civil/legal marriage sooner, and add your spouse earlier in the processing period; then you don't have to worry about the timing of the 'big' wedding.

If your application is approved and you land before you get married, you would be able to sponsor your spouse, but it would be much easier to add to your current application...
