Thank you so much for your hope thus far with my outland spousal application. I am so grateful this platform is available to help us get through the intricacies of the application!
I have a question about IMM 0008 - Generic Application Form for Canada. Specifically, question 3:
"How many family members, including you, are in this application?".
I have read the instructions and understand the definition of a 'family member' includes a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.
My common-law partner and I have one child together, but he was born in Canada and he is a Canadian citizen so he does NOT need processing. It is just me! Thus, to answer this question, do I put '3' as the application includes i) my spouse (sponsor), ii) me (principal applicant), and ii) our child? Or have I got this wrong? I appreciate your help!!
