Hi! I'm facing a complicated situation with my employment history as I prepare to submit my application for Express Entry (EE). I have already received an invitation to apply.
I previously worked at a start-up business in China, located in a different city from where my tax and social security fees were registered. During that period, I paid all my taxes and social security fees through a friend's company, and the job payments were made in cash. Before receiving my invitation for EE, I had already included this experience in my profile.
In this case, should I remove this experience on my application and only list my employment at my friend’s company? Will they notice that there’s a difference between my profile experience and my application experience?
I do begin to work at my friend's company six month after the previous startup experience. So for this position, all social security, tax, and insurance records are correct, although I only have partial payment records.
I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice on how to handle this in my application.
