I'm currently applying through Ontario's Human Capital Priorities program via Express Entry. Here’s my timeline for reference:

As of June 15, my application tracker shows that the last update was on March 20. The current status is as follows:
- Biometrics: Completed
- Medical exam: Completed
- Eligibility: Completed
- Background verification: In Progress
I understand that I might have provided a lot of information, but I wanted to give the full context.
My main questions are about the Eligibility and Background verification stages:
- What do these stages mean exactly?
- Does "Eligibility completed" indicate that my documents (e.g., proof of work and education) have been reviewed and accepted?
- Should I be concerned about the possibility of my application being rejected at this stage (I realize no one can provide a definite answer)?
- Does "Background verification" relate to checking any security issues?
- Lastly, I know that providing an exact timeline is challenging, but based on your experience, what is the most likely range of time remaining for my application to reach a final decision?
Thank you very much for your insights!
