Hi Guys,

I received an ITA in the last draw, now I have a question...

I did my bachelor outside Canad, but then did M.Sc. in Canada, and now pursuing a Ph.D in Canada as well...

So do I need ECA for my bachelor degree? and do I need it for my secondary school degree as well?

Thanks

I'm guessing you only included your Masters in your profile?

If such is the case then include your bachelors only in the personal history section. You won't be required to get your ECA in that case.

Correct.. Explanation:- If the University accepted your Bachelors degree equivalent to the Canadian Bachelors, only then you were able to do Masters here and now doing your PhD

I REALLY LIKE YOUR SIGNATURES :0)

No, I included everything, my bachelor from my home country, then my Master's from Alberta, and the current PhD studies from Toronto...

I know it doesn't matter for calculating your score, but I heard it does matter when you apply...so do I need ECA for that bachelor?

Also what about the secondary school degree?

At the profiling level, when you entered your Bachelors, obviously you entered that its outside of Canada and you don't have an ECA.. In other words, you did not claim any points for that... So, no need again for the ECA.
I could be wrong... Experts can chip in here

Because when you make the profile it tells you that you don't need ECA if your highest degree is from canada, but again THAT"S FOR SCORE CALCULATIONS...

But when I got the ITA and was uploading my documents, it says clearly you need ECA for each degree outside Canada...

I'm very confused, and that ECA will take so long! beside the fees...

But I believe you take points for the bachelor degree, no?
Nope if you say the ECA wasn't done...
