I am just wondering if it would look a little suspicious if the letter of reference from my employers listed my responsibilities/duties in the role exactly the way they have been written in the NOC "description of duties" - word for word??

2 of my past employers have asked me what they should include in their reference letters, so I just copied and pasted some of the different responsibilities that were listed in the NOC description for my NOC, but word for word!
I basically just selected some of the duties that they described on the NOC page that matched some of the duties that my role at those jobs involved, and copied the descriptions word for word.

Do you think it would be okay if the reference letter from by employer listed my responsibilities verbatim from the NOC page for my occupation>? ie: with the EXACT same wording?

Or would this look to be a little calculated or manufactured?

it should not be word to word copy paste. U have to make it in the light of noc description that fits ur original situation.

But do you think it will be a problem if my reference letter lists some of my duties in the job word for word the way they are described in the NOC roles ?

If some of the duties are listed exactly word for word in the way the NOC category has described them?

I think no one can give you a sure answer on this; I doubt none of those who has successful application did the letter in this Word for Work C&P way. In this case why you don't get the letter redone instead of trying to confirm on this and taking the risks?

Per I experience, the Reference letters don't need to be that detailed to cover all the duties at all, as long as the job titles are self-explanatory and the main duties fit, they should be acceptable.

Good luck.
