Hi everyone,

I live in Canada and my wife is in China. We received her PPR this week and she just sent it off to the VO in China today.

Just a few questions.
1. Do we get the COPR after getting her passport back?
2. Or when in the process do we get the COPR?
3. Once we do get the COPR, how long does she have in order to arrive to Canada? She did her medicals end of June 2017.
4. Is it better for her to come to Canada as soon as possible?

I of course want her to come as soon as possible to be with me as I miss her so much but of course, she needs to settle her work and various things.

COPR and passport with PR travel visa are sent back together.

The COPR expiry is based from approx 1 year from medical. So should be valid until around June 2018.

She can arrive to do PR landing in Canada anytime before COPR expires.
