Hi all, I have my citizenship test on 7th December. The letter says at 10:15 am. However, I am not sure if it's 10:15 am when the test starts or if it's when we are allowed to enter test site. Can somebody clarify the whole process please?

Thanks,

Stef.

It should say in your email when to be there. I had to be there 20 minutes before my appointed time. They do not want you to come too early though, so check the instructions. If in doubt about 20 - 30 minutes before. And yes it is your test time.

Hi, just to update everyone. I had my test today. 10:15 am was the arrival time, not the test start time. There's no strict start time requirement. They made sure that all candidates were there and started the test at 10:40 am. I was out in almost 5 minutes. Both my wife and I got 19 out of 20 correct. Interview was also easy. The officer only asked if I had any criminal history and also matched all in-and-out dates on passports and application. Also asked about my profession. I offered to show my employment letter as well as educational qualification documents. She politely declined. She said we'll get oath letter in about 2 months.

Regarding exam questions, they were quite easy. I know most people recommend to read Discover Canada at least three times. In my personal opinion, it's not required. If you could practice questions on V-Soul and other practice sites, you'll nail the exam. If you absolutely want to read the book then first spend a few days on practicing online questions and then read the book. Otherwise, you probably won't enjoy reading the book. Cheers and good luck everybody who have test coming up.
