Hi All,

I am bout to submitt my application for citizenship and I was wondering if you could help me with below questions:

1- I have 1 or 2 trip abroad where i stayed about 3.5 months in my home country, now as part the the application i need to mention my address within the last 4 years. Should i mention my address abroad, or my address in canada where i had my mailing address? i am thinking i should only put my addresses in canada as i was residing here and went for a visit back home? as i dont want this to raise any flags. ( I have been a total of 311 days out of country in the pas 4 years).

2- do you think i should get a copy of CBSA report for the entry dates and include it with my application , or is that unnecessary?

Thanks very much

Foreign visit addresses are just temporary so no need to add as your address history so I did in my file. I just made copy of exit and entry stamps from the passport and attached to my application file. I didn't even get the copy of CBSA report. It's up to you if you want to include CBSA report just incase to be in safe side. I think it is much better to add report in the application. Documentation plays vital role.

I had a question about this too, but decided to provide addresses for every place I was during the 4 year relevant period. CIC can decide whether my two trips are considered "residing" or "visiting".
So I listed my Canadian addressed first, then the address of where I was overseas while visiting. I also wrote a brief note saying, (bottom 3 addresses were during visits to "name of country"). I only have absence of 66 days anyway.
