I sent my document under CEC category to Buffalo in June 2011, I just received an email form CIC today which has two numbers on top, one is UCI and the other is "Application number". This letter says that "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada". Now I have two questions:
1- Is this my AOR? and if it is then what is my file number? is it the same as application number that I received? or do I receive another file number later?
2- The UCI in the email is different from the client ID in my study permit. However for a friend of mine that applied at the same time with me, both UCI and the client ID of study permit are the same. Is there a mistake in my application and do I need to inform CIC of this matter?
