My brother and his wife have applied for canadian work permit mid Nov 2013. This is an Intra Company Transfer. They have applied from Chicago, US.
We have a family occasion in May and would want them here by end of April 2014 either immigrated or for a visit.
They have a visitor visa for Canada, but his company has advised him that he should not be travelling to canada while the WP is in process.
My questions are;
1. Does anyone has an idea as to how much time it would take for them to land in Canada (including Medicals)? Will they be able to come here by end of April 2014?
2. Incase, they do not get their Work permit by that time, can they travel on Visitor Visa or will it create problems in their WP application.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
