Dear Fellows,

I have received my IA (Initial Assessment) in September 2011 with interview waived. No further document required. I already have done advance medical exam and they are received by Buffalo in July 2011. I also paid the RPRF in July 2011.

Now my question is that. What is next step and how long I have to wait for PPR. What about my background and security check whether it is completed or not.

Advance Thank you very much for your kind response.

Hi my friend Qshz, In my words an applicant for Canadian Immigration should have at least three more additional qualifications to get the PR visa:

anticipation
Patience
stress acceptance

No on will be able to say exactly when and how the background or security checks are completed.

Exactly as Wilson said... no one can tell you exactly.

But I would say you will PROBABLY hear something within 3 months; after that, if you have not heard anything, it would be OK to send a case-specific inquiry.
