My spouse (applicant) has had TB in the past, since 2004 they have had no active TB and have had exams and tests done to confirm this fact.
They have had tests taken in 2006 (CT scan) and in 2009 (sputum test) in their home country that showed no active TB.
We are thinking of asking the medical officials that administered these tests for letters stating the results; that there was no active TB.
What do you think about this, and would it be of a benefit for our application?
If letters are a good idea, how should these be phrased?
Note: Additional medical exams were taken in Canada (by DMP, the exams were requested for visitor visa extensions).
Those exams were done in early 2008 and in mid-2009, and also confirmed there is no active TB.
We are thinking of using proof of the mid-2009 medical exam for our PR application, but should we mention or provide evidence of the 2008 medical exam as well?
