If you (the sponsor) will receive correspondence for, or act in any way
on behalf of your spouse, partner, or dependent child over the age of
18, the person you are sponsoring (and each represented family
member over 18) must complete a Use of Representative form
[IMM 5476] (PDF, 648.31 KB) authorizing you as their representative.
I (Sponsor) have filled out all the forms myself here in Canada. My wife (PA) who is still in Thailand has looked them over and had me make changes where needed. Once all was correct I then had her print and sign the pages needing her signature and mail them to me. Does this make me her representative and I should be filing a 5476? I'm thinking no but I want to be sure. Thanks for any guidance.
