I don't think leaving without ticking YES or NO is a good idea. If you did not do LINC, check NO box. This can reflect to CIC that you are aware of all questions and NO means they will have your other language proof..

I strongly suggest you read the instruction guide for filling out the form. It clearly states the following regarding question 9E (actually every single question is explained):

Question 9E - This section is to be completed ONLY if you successfully completed LINC/CLIC language training program at CLB/NCLC 4 from January 2008-October 2012 and you have no certificate available.

Check Yes box to authorize Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to access your LINC/CLIC results held by CIC in order to determine your citizenship eligibility.

If you choose No, you will be required to submit alternate acceptable proof of language ability with your application.

I have a postgraduate degree from a university in the UK, and I submitted the certificate as well as my IELTS that I took a few years ago when I applied forimmigration.

I realized that in my citizenship application, they counted the IELTS as a language evidence and not my postgraduate degree.

After reading it carelly, I have understood if you have CLB or diploma/degree as proof of language you don't need to fill this section, just write NA. I believe this is ONLY for those who do LINC. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

True, that's what the guide says. But I read so many contradictory experiences here...

In fact, I'm planning to include a cover letter because I have to explain some other points of my application, and I'll add the LINC point as well...

So I took LINC but it was in 2014 should I check yes or no

another question plz ... I took the LINC course for about 6 months and I want to write the course in education because i was not working during this period. what document should I provide ( because they need a transcript for education )

There is a question have you attended an educational institution in the last 4 years ? should I check yes ( because of LINC course )
Thanks

No. If you read the guide carefully, "education" does not imply a single course. LINC is used for proving language proficiency, but didn't grant you a diploma :).

Can I check no and at the same time write LINC course in Work/history section ( because I don't want to write seeking for a job , instant I want to write the LINC course as prove of residency during this time)

You must clearly write "unemployed" for whatever period it applies to and use any bank statements (e.g. monthly statements of your chequing account/credit card) to show that you were actually in Canada transacting and leaving. You must also include your LINC course. Remember that you have only once chance to citizenship -- it can be easily cancelled/revoked if they find out (trust me, they will) that you lied.

Some people in the forum took some English or french courses and they wrote it in Work/History so I wonder If I can wrote my LINC english course in this section. For most of us LINC is neither yes nor no. I wrote with near that question N/A. I read elsewhere application returned for leaving it blank.

Instruction: This section is to be completed ONLY if you successfully completed LINC/CLIC language training program at CLB/NCLC 4 from January 2008-October 2012 and you have no certificate available.

So when it is not applicable to you marking either yes or no is incorrect.
