Question 6D in Canadian application

Hi,

I am applying for my Canadian citizenship. My passport got renewed 4 years back and my old passport was taken away by the consulate as a part of their process. So, I do not have a passport covering last 6 years of biographical data as required.

Would it suffice to just explain this in 6D column of the application or do I need to present any separate documentation as a proof to cover last 6 years.

If you have other documents should be good otherwise just explain the same in the box.

Can you please give examples of documents that can provide the biographical information ? I can only think of a birth certificate.
