I am a live-in caregiver applying for PR. I have a problem to fill up the imm0008 form in question 4. I was asked to select "The Immigration Office requested for the processing of your permanent resident application".
Should I put Case Processing Centre, Vegreville, AB or Buffalo,NY?
( I was confused after reading the instruction guide imm5290. This is what it said;
Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application
Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:
your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year.
Note: Do not select the CIO as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa
office using the criteria above.
I am Thai but have been working in Canada for 3 years. For sure I don't select Singapore as a service office. I am not sure between Buffalo and CPC, Vegreville.
Please help!!
