I applied for Study Permit on 5 March 2023 and flew on 4 May 2023 for the May intake.
In the IMM5257 form, I mentioned say, XYZ as my current employer, and I mentioned the employment period of the current employer from 1 May 2022 to 31 January 2023, showing a letter from XYZ that I had successfully completed work with them. But I continued to work with them from Feb 2023 to 30 April 2023, when I left. I have Pay Stubs, Bank Salary credits and tax statements.
I would need to apply for a study permit extension now, I am planning to enter my full work experience with XYZ from my home country.
Would it be appropriate to just fill in May 2022 to April 2023 without giving any impression of misrepresentation of any kind?
I continued to work after I applied, during the initial application I attached the letter of work experience till January 2023 only because initially I had planned to apply in February 2023 but I ended but applying on 5 March 2023.
All in all, I mentioned XYZ in the current employer section, I just need to confirm if I can add this full 1 year experience now, as I might need to claim points for it in the future.
