I need a bit of advice regarding my current situation. I had submitted by PR application in March, 2020 and according to the CIC agent I spoke to this morning, everything has passed except criminal record, which will happen once I'm able to provide my biometrics.
My TRV in the mean time was going to expire in July, hence I applied for a renewal. I received a passport request today and have 30 days to send it in. My concern is that in the interim period when my passport has been sent for a TRV stamp, if my biometrics are complete and my PR application gets approved and receive a passport request for that, how would I handle that situation in the event that my passport hasn't returned with a TRV stamp yet? Under normal circumstances, TRV stamped passports return within 2-3 weeks. But given the Covid19 scenario, this will probably be delayed.
Can somewhere offer some advice about this or if anyone has recently renewed their TRV, shed some light on the time it took for their passport to come back stamped?
