Hi,
I got PR under FSW category this year and am immigrating in another 20 days. I have a query regarding the travel process and landing. Actually I bought tickets from London to Vancouver via Montreal(which falls in Quebec). In this case , do I have to go through the landing/immigration interview process at Montreal or it will take place only at Vancouver...Since I do not have visa for Quebec state(which I believe has a separate visa for FSW also)..Will I be allowed to take a transit flight via Montreal? or they do not allow at all to land in Montreal even I have to take a transit flight from Montreal.
Please suggest.

thanks,
Himanshu Narula

"Landing" at Montreal, you will have to show an onward ticket outside Quebec. Quebec is still a part of Canada.

Hey PMM, for the spousal sponsorships arrivals. if spouse is to come to Ottawa. but cannot find flights into ottawa. can they come out from the Montreal airport?

my question is if the VISA issued to a spouse to come canada is for Ontario, but can they landing in Montreal? and get out from teh airport so their husbands/wifes can receive them at Montrael airport?
