Query Regarding Submission of IELTS scores after CIC application has been sent?

Hello,

I am planning on submitting my CIC FSW application before the end of December 2014. But my IELTS General test is scheduled for January 2015, so if I wait for my test scores then it may be too late and my application may be stacked under the Express Entry category.

So can I send my complete application (minus the IELTS scores) in 2014, and add/attach the test scores in January 2015? Has anyone successfully done this without affecting their application's success rate?

No - you must include your IELTS results in your application package.

Since it's part of the checklist, if you don't include it, your file will be returned to you and you'll need to resend everything. Worse case scenario - your application might be rejected.

Without original IELTS cert your application is deemed incomplete and will be returned invariably after completeness check.
