Hi I applied for study visa in may 2019 and got it till Dec 2019 as i applied with old passport which was due for expiry in dec 2019 itself.
After coming here, i got the study permit letter dec 2019, immigration officer asked me to apply for study permit extension with my new passport. I applied for Study permit extension and got it approved till November 2021. Now my question is do i need to apply for Study visa as well since stamp on my passport is till December 2019.
Will i be able to to leave canada and renter with only study permit validity. Or do i need to apply for study visa to get stamp on my passport?
