Hi,

yesterday I have submitted my PR application.
But there were some technical problems during submission...after uploading all relevant docs I put the credit cards details for payment...initially it was refused due to low credit limit...after adjusting the credit limit I was able to pay the required fees...it showed me the confirmation page...at this payment confirmation page I found one button named return...I was just about to press the return button...but unfortunately at this time network got disconnected... then I just recommend again to check the status... I found 2 things there...one is payment confirmation msg....second is application received confirmation msg....did I miss anything? was there any option to press the application submission button just after the online payment? is my application syeps completed? please let me know your opinion....

regards

Your application was successfully submitted if you received an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) in your myCIC inbox.
hi Dan,

I have got a confirmation letter from cic which mentioned "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada was received by Citizenship and
Immigration Canada (CIC) via your MyCIC account on..."

so I can consider this as AOR.right?

secondly my IELTS will be expired on coming December... is there any chance that they might ask for new IELTS?

That is your AOR, yes. Your application status will also probably say 'Submitted' in your MyCIC (and a new application for Permanent Residence will show up under your 'My Applications' list) if the application went through successfully.

You will not have to submit new IELTS test results.

Hi Aragorn,

The application status is not 'submitted'.Its open anong with other statutes. Is it ok? FYI, I am quite confused about the application submission as I faced network interruption during application submission.my paymer was ok but I didn't find any button to finally submit the application.

Application/profile status:Open
Review of eligibility:Review In Progress
Review of medical results:passed
A background check is needed :Not started
