Query regarding police clearance certificate

Hello Members,

I need to get police clearance certificates from Belgium, USA and India. Can anyone please share their experiences and time it took you to get these certificates? I have applied for Ontario PNP nomination, should I wait for my nomination to get approved or start working towards getting police certificates?

For India you can get PCC from your passport office. They will issue on the same day if police verification Is available. Otherwise they will issue PCC after police verification. It will take around one month. Better apply for PCC after PNP nomination.

I forgot to mention in my original post that I am already in Canada on a Study permit so I think I cannot apply at a post office.

Apply here in Indian consulate thro BLS India. It may take around 3 weeks, if police verification report is available online. Otherwise they will issue PCC after getting police verification report from India.
