I am applying for humber college this month. Just waiting for transcripts. The college has already told that instead of ielts i can give college letter for english proof so i am going ahead with that.
My query is what are the chances of visa getting refused just because of no ielts? I will apply under general category. I am applying at other colleges as well who are okay with college letter instead of ielts.
Anyone here who got visa approval without ielts? Is there anyone whos visa was rejected just for ielts?

About backlogs. I have 6 backlogs in my 3 years bachelor and 1 backlog in my Masters. I have 3 years of software testing experience. If college is ok with backlogs is there any problem with visa? Does VO check for backlogs?
I am more worried about the visa rather than college offer letter because i know that admission will be possible in one or another college/university in computer related courses, but visa will sting me.
