Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi ,

CIC mentions :
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.

  • What is the minimum no. of hours per week to be considered "full time". Mine is 40
  • What should the job status say - "Permanent Employee" or "Full Time Employee"
  • I got promoted twice. But my roles and project remained same. Still should i have "duties and responsibilities" for each role?
  • My salary has changed 4 times during the last 5 yrs. Is "annual salary plus benefits." needed for each year? Basically i have worked on same post for 2 or more years with different salaries.
  • My ex-colleague from my previous company is no more in that company. When he signs the affidavit, should he mention his new position and company or the old position and the old company
  • He can't give me a business card, is it mandatory? What are the alternatives

Please advice

30 hours/week minimum.

Doesn't need to say Permanent unless it is an LMIA supported job. Full-time would do.

If the NOC remained unchanged, you don't need to get a fresh reference letter.

  • My salary has changed 4 times during the last 5 yrs. Is "annual salary plus benefits." needed for each year? Basically i have worked on same post for 2 or more years with different salaries.

Just get the latest salary mentioned.

  • My ex-colleague from my previous company is no more in that company. When he signs the affidavit, should he mention his new position and company or the old position and the old company

Both preferably.

  • He can't give me a business card, is it mandatory? What are the alternatives

It isn't mandatory. Alternative is to get their details mentioned in the reference letter.
