Query regarding getting Driving License in Nova Scotia

Hi,

I am landing to Halifax in June month. I have an Indian National Driving License since 2003. So, my query is, would I need to take driving license test for Learner license or newly license after coming to NS?

Could anyone advise that what kind of documents I need if I want to skip the learner license level while taking driving test ?

Be a good idea to get an international drivers license before you come. This will help. Also make sure you can prove how long you have held a drivers license in your home country. Might simplify the tests and timelines for you a little.

You said, I need to prove the driving experience in home country. So, I need to get the experience letter from local transport office, right ?

Are you in Halifax now ? I am also looking for accommodation in Halifax. Could you please help me to find it?

An experience letter would be great though for the most part an actual license with a date on would probably also work. Anything that would prove how long you have had a license.
