The guide to fill the forms says:
"Important: You must list all family members in your application for permanent residence, whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not. You must also provide details on family members whose location is unknown (including those missing or presumed dead). If you don’t, you will not be able to sponsor family members at a later date if they are not listed on your application."
My Query:
Currently I am only applying under CEC for myself, spouse & kid. I may apply for my parents later (after few yrs) but not now.
I want to know how true is the above statement? Has anyone applied and brought their parents at a later stage without actually filling the their details in "your" PR application above.
My problem is my father's Passport has only his Firstname filled in and his Lastname in blank. While on my passport, his full name is mentioned under Father's name. So, when I am filling his details in my form IMM 0008, which name of his I should fill in?
Would appreciate a quick response from experts here.
thank you
