Dear All
I am new to this site pls help me for this query
I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I am a regular visitor of www.cic.gc.ca as me & my fiancé pursuing Canadian Immigration under “Skilled workers & Professional” category.
In this regard I have some query regarding our immigration case but before getting in to the detail I would like to explain the background of our case in brief. I & my fiancé (as we are planning to get married within 6 months) have evaluated our points according to the pre described six selection factor & fortunately we both are qualifying more than 67 points as an individual applicant (obviously not including the spouse points at this time). One more thing which I would need to bring in to your kind knowledge that the reason to apply individually is to reduce the processing duration of our application as we can’t get married before 6 months due to some personal issues.
Now there is a possibility which might come in to our situation that in case if we both get approved (may be after 12 -15 months of applying), the time when we will have become a married couple. Now the Question is, that which score will be considered;
1. The one without including the spouse points (on the basis of which we would have been applied first)
OR
2. The upgraded one i.e. including the spouse points. (As we will become a married couple)
IF first condition applies then where we will be standing & what we will be suppose to do? Whether we will be preceding our case as an individual person or either I or my husband will be needed to withdraw his or her case to become a dependant candidate?
And what if the second condition applies? How much amount we both will be needed in our bank accounts to show up before leaving to Canada?
Thank you in anticipation
Hope to hear you soon.
Regards
