Query on UK Police Clearance

Hello
I have applied for UK police clearance. After 40 days i got a letter from the Police department. It says they have no evidence of any criminal activity on Police computers for me. Is this a true police clearance that canadian embassy looks for PR application?. The letter says its Subject access and doesn't even tell the period for which its issued (I'm not a UK resident). Is Subject access same as UK police Clearance. Pls advise

This is the same as what I got and I live in the UK.....and I have my Visa now so I guess its fine. You have to send the original....it should have blue bands around the top and bottom of the page.

Its just saying you have no criminal record.
