Query on TRV & WP Actual Processing time at Bangalore Visa Office (Dec '14)

Hi All,

My wife and I have applied for a TRV and WP on the basis of my wife's Job Offer (NOC Code 1114-A) (Open Work Permit for me) and Temp Letter of Support from NS Province on 10th Dec '14 from outside Canada (India) and have not yet heard back from CIC office at Bangalore, India.

VFS Global the VAC in Bangalore informed me that it takes 21 days to get the WP and TRV. We've not even got the call for Med Exams. I'm highly worried.

Visa application, tracking ID No.20141210INBLWKXXXXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, BANGALORE.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

What is the actual processing timeline?

Hi All,

We had applied for our WP & TRV from VFS Global Bangalore office and our Application is with Bangalore Immigration office. We have received our Medical Exam Request yesterday but we're travelling out of Bangalore tomorrow morning to Kolkata.

Is it possible to get the Medical Exam done from Kolkata and submit the receipt to VFS Kolkata office?

Hey I applied on 22nd December .. it says d same processed at vfs bangalore.
Did u get ur owp n TRV? ?

Buddy, VFS is not the visa office. Canada Visa Office for India is in Delhi. So it doesn't matter from where you do your Medical exam. Just take the letter and go to the authorized medical center as per Canada Website and get your medical exam done. You can submit the reciepts any Canada VFS office.

We got our WP approval email on 3rd Feb. Have to collect the TRV from VFS Bangalore.

Buddy, VFS is not the visa office. Canada Visa Office for India is in Delhi. So it doesn't matter from where you do your Medical exam. Just take the letter and go to the authorized medical center as per Canada Website and get your medical exam done. You can submit the reciepts any Canada VFS office.

We got our eMedicals done at Kolkata on 23rd Jan 2015. Got the Visa Approval email on 3rd Feb 2015 from Bangalore Consulate. Our application was in process with Bangalore HC. Bangalore HC caters to Southern India applicants. As you rightly pointed out VFS is a VAC and it's not the Visa Issuing Authority.
