Hello members,

I have performed many of the duties of NOC category (7213: Contractors and Supervisors, Pipefitting trades) during my initial career for 3 yrs but later I shifted to design aspects of Piping in Oil& Gas , Power Plants.

I got 3 queries:-
1. whether my that experience will count for the Canada immigration application..i.e. Am I eligible under this category.
2. What sort of documents i need to provide to support my work experience in this field ( category)
3. After getting PR, I can only take employment of which are under this category or I can continue with my present Design of Piping in Industrial plants career.

Please help me. Thanks in advance for your response. Senior members please help.

1. You would need 1 years continuous experience in the NOC in the past 10 years for it to count.
2. You would need your experience letter from your employer outlining your duties, and that those duties most conform to most of the duties outlined in the NOC.
3. No, you can do whatever you want when you become a PR.
