I did my medicals yesterday.today i just went to the doctor's counter to submit a photocopy that i forgot to bring yesterday..i just formaly asked the lab attendant about my test reports ..he told me my urinalysis was ok but my spouse has got RBCs and Pus cells in it ..i was totally shocked as i already got mine n her urinalysis just a day back from another lab and that was perfectly ok..
i dont know whether that attendant was looking for something else (money) from us or he might be right..
plz guide if it really happens then what will be the consequences??
A female urine usually can get RBCs in small amounts in it as urinary tract infections are very common in them..
Further before monthly cycles and during cycles its very understood that urine can have RBCs..
Also retaining urine for some time in bladder and then evacuating it with pressure also sometimes corrodes the internal epithelial lining resulting the enterance of RBCs in urine in small amounts..
So small amount of RBCs in urine is not a big deal as it can happen in all of the above three reasons other than some major infection..
But the point is doctors at CHC really understands this scenario or they will ask for re-medicals just bcz of little RBCs in blood???
PLz comment on it as we r really very worried about it ..
Thanks in advance
