Query about child PR outside Canada

I have received a Canadian PR along with my wife under the Skilled Immigration Category. We also did our landing and came back to India due to personal commitments.

1. We are now planning a baby in India and would like to know the procedure to sponsor the child PR from India and the expected time for that. Does the principal applicant need to be in Canada during the sponsorship period?

2. Is it possible to take the baby to Canada on a tourist visa initially, and then apply for child PR from Canada?

3. Is it possible to expedite the process in any way?

1. As PRs the sponsor has to be in Canada to sponsor the child.
2. You can try for a TRV or TRP but the chances are remote as the child's intention is to remain in Canada not visit.
3. No, you wait your turn the same as everyone else. Children's applications are fairly quick. Minimal medical, no background/security or criminal records check.
