Hi All,
I am planning to apply for Canadian Citizenship next year (early Feb/Mar).
My spouse doesnt want to apply for Canadian citizenship at the moment and wants to continue as a PR holder for another year or so. She is stay-at-home mother and we all stay together (currently, in Canada).
However, I want to apply for Canadian citizenship ASAP and also want to include my 2 minor kids along with my application.
Is it okay and fine if 3 of us apply together (myself, 2 minor kids) but my wife chose not to apply with us?
Will my minor kids applications will be considered valid and will be considered for Citizenship depending on my application status? Or is it necessary that mother should also be applying along with kids? Please advise what is the best course of action so that there are no last minute challenges. Many thanks.
