Queries related PR Application - Dependent Removal

Hi All,
I am going to apply for my PR application under Express entry - CEC category. I am the main applicant who have 1 year of full time work experience in Canada and my wife is my dependent in the application. She decided not to apply for PR. In that case, can I remove her from my application even though she is still here in Canada with open work permit?

My questions are:
1. Can I apply my PR application without a dependent (who lives in Canada)?
2. If yes, Is there any documentation that I need to provide as a proof?

1. No. She still needs to be part of the application and submit the medical and PCC.
