Hi Forum,

I have two queries regarding EE application one for me and one for my friend

1. My friend is residing in India and he got ITA in 8th draw and he also submitted his documents. He has resigned from his job in order to prepare himself for Canada in next 6 months. He will leave his job may be in next one month so will this effect his application or CIC can ask him questions because he got ITA on the basis of his work experience he obtained form job.

2. After having BC PNP express entry, can i change my employer?

1. Ideally it shouldn't matter under EE. Any post ITA changes that can cause one to lose points are the ones that CIC is interested in. Even if your friend has spent more than a year in that job role and subsequently used that to claim points in EE for 1 year of full-time work ex during the last 10 years, not having that job anymore still doesn't matter.

What do you mean by "CIC can ask him questions because he got ITA on the basis of his work experience he obtained form job."?

2. Having a PNP entitles you to work within that province - it doesn't bind you to an employer imo.
