Hey hi everybody,
This is my first post over here and i had some stuff to clarify that i've been going over the past few months. So i'll present my profile and situation, any one with relevant experience/knowledge is welcome to answer and help clarify my doubts.Going away from home to study overseas is a huge investment and makes one nervous with all the hurdles and restrictions to overcome causes anxiety as each one's case is different. So to give an overview this is what i've done up until recently :
(I reside in India so...)
1) SSC - 71 %
2) HSC - 55 % (Science stream)
3) B.Sc Visual Communication (Indian Degree) with a specialization in Animation & VFX(Offered as a certificate from a recognized Australian global educational organisation) Just finished [Awaiting final results]
(Maintained aggregate of around 70-80 %)
4) I do have a short time Work exp in a reputed globally known broadcast network with supporting letters.
So now here's the situation that is unique to my case : After completing my HSC i.e Grade/Std +12... i enrolled for a engineering degree of 4 years (Computer Science) like most of my peers.I had a tough time in few subjects but the most being in math. Due to that one subject i couldn't continue and dropped out in 2 years of joining and in the 3rd year of that course i instead immediately enrolled for my current bachelor's program which has been much a better option. This obviously has occurred due to unavailability or being unaware of applied arts & tech courses that i was interested in after my HSC. I was interested in computer graphics but knew not what to pursue.
So keeping the above in mind, what would be the chances of acquiring a study permit in my case? I have targeted technical arts courses in colleges relevant to my degree but i am very much interested in a Masters degree perhaps in Advertising/Marketing which actually is in my field but i have doubts whether the VO would see it the same way. Will universities accept me even though my uni has a NAAC "B".Please kindly guide me on the same.
