I gave IELTS in May 2006. Is it still valid to apply under Simplified Application Process now?

Moreover, after we apply and get the file number, Can anyone share details of documents they ask to submit?

We live in Thailand and our home is in India. Fortunately we will travel this month end to India. So is there anything we can prepare in advance from our home like bank statement etc.. Its hard to travel frequently and during this home trip, I want to prepare all documents pertaining to case filing.

No, it has to be within a year of submitting a SAP or when additional documents are required.
