I'm currently working as a Senior Software Engineer with a Canadian company(Toronto based IT company) for the past year and a half. I'm outside Canada and they pay me as a contractor. I'm thinking about applying for a Canadian PR. I'm pretty sure they would give me a job offer letter if I decide to move to Canada.
So, these are the questions I have:
1. If I get a nomination from the Ontario province, I'll straight up get 600 points and I don't have to worry about other things, right? By other things I mean, I have a wife who is going to accompany me. I don't have to worry about her IELTS or ECA, right? Note that my current CRS score is 385 if I estimate a score of 6 in all the sections.
2. What all things would I need from my employer to get a nomination from the Ontario province?
3. What are the other things required to get a nomination from the Ontario province and what are the chances considering I could have a Senior Software Engineer job from a Toronto based IT company?
