Queries about address on PCC form and application form for PR

Hi All,

I have below two queries.

1. I need PCC from India. Shall I fill all the address in form where I lived in India in last 10 years. I have lived at many places in last 10 years. But I heard this will delay the processing, which is logical. Second option is to fill my permanent address which is mentioned on passport, Please suggest if this will not create any problem.

2. For the main application form for PR, shall I give the same addresses which I have provided on PCC or it can be different. Please suggest. Again, in this form, shall I give all the previous addresses where I have stayed in last 10 years or just the address on passport.

Senior members, please answer these queries, based on your experience.

1. Give only one. Your permanent address OR the most recent address you lived in India.
2. Not necessary for you to give the same address as PCC. But mandatory to give all previous addresses as per CEC requirement.

You put your permanent Address. If you want to more clarify then you have to call passport services.

PCC issued to you will have no address mentioned on it. By default, you will mention the address that you gave in PCC application on the PR form as well as a (previous history details). It is not required that the present mailing address on both should match.

Same issue for me also..I applied for PCC with my husbands address which is my present address. But in my passport the address is the permanent one.Would like to get a clarification whether the address difference in PCC and passport will be an issue for my VISA process.
My passport is updated with my husbands name.
