Hi All,

I have attended the Quebec Selection Certificate(CSQ) interview in July month in Paris and got 59 points after my interview. But I need to achieve 63 points to get my CSQ .
At the time of the interview, they evaluated my level of competence in French is level 1 (A1 or TEF1) was speaking and oral comprehension.
I will have to reach level 5 or submit a DELF or TCF B3 or TEFQ to get CSQ. I have been given one year to submit TEFQ certificate (Intermediate B1) to proof my French proficiency.

I have joined french course to achieve intermediate level B1 to get 4 more points.

But Now (In October), I have completed my 4 years experience (8 points). When I applied the CSQ, I got the 6 points for 3 years experience only.

Can I send my 4 years experience certificate to get 2 more points ? Is this possible after I submit the application. Does any one have this experience?

I have seen some forum that, If I stay in Quebec for not less than 2 weeks and not more than 3 months, I can also gain 1 more points based on stay in Quebec

Can someone advise me on this?

Thanks in advance.

yes you can gain 4 years work experience points , but be sure before sending to them that you achieve the points which you need.

AS per your case your points after interview is 59 . but you need 63
now if you provide them 1year more work experience i.e you gain 2 more points.
Stay in quebec =1 point
total : 62(still 1 point short)

Its better you enroll for french course if you clear upto High Beginner proficiency you will get 6 points (DELF a1 + Delf a2=6).Its not difficult to achieve 6 points in Basic

Hi,
I am interested in applying for Quebec Immigration. I have some of confusions. Seniors and other members, pls help me in clearing this confusions.

My education is Masters of Science (Applied Chemistry) which I completed in year 2000. It is 10 years now.
I have worked as Pharma Sales Executive from Oct 2000 to Feb 2006. and from March 2006 till now I am working in Life Insurance Company.

Now I obtained my degree in year 2000 which is more than 5 years from now, so I need to have atleast one year of work exp related to areas of training. Pls see the data I taken from quebec immigratioin website.

My confusion is that can I get points for my 1 years of experience as Pharma Sales Executive from 2005 to 2006 ( this period is within 5 years from now)? Is this work experience related to my areas of training?

I read somewhere on website of QUebec Immigration that:

AREAS OF TRAINING
Additional points are attributed to candidates who have earned diplomas or
degrees in fields with good medium-term job prospects. The List of areas of
training compiled with particular regard to Québec job market requirements.
The diploma or degree must have been obtained in the five years previous to
applying for a Québec Selection Certificate (QSC). If this is not the case, the
applicant must have worked for at least one year out of the five years in
question in a field directly related to the diploma or degree obtained and for
which assessment is being made.

Hi All,

It is rather unfortunate to inform you that if you have submitted your application to Quebec and you have not yet been called for an interview nor have got the final decision yet, your application will be processed according to the new rules in effect since August 1st, 2013, no matter when you submitted your application.

Please check this FAQ, specifically answer No. 1
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/questions-answers.html#august

Also, please help us to send a complaint to the Minister of Immigration by using the link below, you can send the complaint in either English or French,

http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/ministere/ecrire.html

Many thanks guys!
