I am a new permanent resident living in Montreal. I recently got married, and my wife is currently outside of Canada.
I wanted to ask for your experience and advice. I understand that the sponsorship process can take a long time, so I was wondering if there is a way for my wife to join me in Canada without affecting her PR application. Is it possible or right to apply for a visitor visa or any other temporary status while her permanent residency is being processed?
