It happened to me, but I thought that my wife doesn't need as she did them in June for her work permit. I haven't done in the past.

Good to know! Thanks a lot for your reply! My wife had a medical exam in 2016 and I did it one year earlier. Not sure if the old test in 2016 could still be applicable in her case.

Medical exam shouldn't be older than 5 years and you also should live all these 5 years in Canada (not to be absent more than 6 months).

They have slightly changed the requirements of BOWP Quebec:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../extend-permit/bridging-open-work-permit.html

Before it used to say that the applicant must live in Quebec, now it says the applicant must intend to live in Quebec. Also it now says that the applicant must satisfy the conditions to restore the status of the work permit.

People who applied for PRs and had to leave Canada because their PRs weren't finalized AND BOWP wasn't available for Quebec are now eligible. Is my conclusion correct?

Those who got AOR and are being asked to submit the Annexe A / Background Declaration, do you have to submit the whole document (with extra sheets) again with an update on what you have done in your personal history and Address history etc? And you need to date it again and sign it again right?

Did they ask you about the background declaration form? Did you have to submit the whole thing again?

I guess Biometrics is like criminal check isnt it, for Canada? I did mine in 2019, hope they don't ask again.
