hope everything is going well with your immigration process.
I've been confused on what kind of copy and translation I should post to BIQ Vienne.
I know that each BIQ office might have slightly different rules.
This is my case in brief:
- some of my qualifications are in English --> I will just send their copies
- some of my qualifications are NOT in English --> I will just send their copies and official translations
from what is written in the website and common sense I assume that the copies should be certified or notarized (or whatever the term is
)
the translations are certified by my country's Foreign Ministry and the stamp is in English.
but what about the copies of English certificates and also copies of original language which are attached to translations?
because I am not living in my home country, for notarization or certification I only have two sources
- embassy of my country
- a notary
I asked the BIQ Vienne about this , but their answer is a bit confusing for me.
Or maybe I am misunderstanding something in French?
Are they saying that original documents should be certified?!
This does not make any sense.
I am not supposed to mail the original documents with my application.

they also sent me this English description:
Embassy of Iran in Helsinki could certify your ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.
Translations DO NOT HAVE TO BE CERTIFIED !!!!!
I'd really any guidance cause this has been confusing me for a while!

I also know that some migration offices may have specific requirements for some languages.
Even here they had a problem with my qualification translations becaue they said they couldn't verify the stamps or read the Persian language.
So I had my embassy to re-certify the translations.
