Hi,

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on my issue. I graduated from a Canadian university in Ontario, I received a PGW permit, worked for a year as a research assistant, completed my english test and got everything I need except, I'm currently living in Quebec doing my masters. Is that going to be a problem? Should I add a letter indicating that I intend to live in Ontario? What do you guys suggest?

Thanks!

it shouldn't be an issue. i applied for CEC back in my home country after I completed my work experiences in Canada. as long as you did your 1 yr of full-time work for a position under NOC 0,A,B , you are eligible to apply! where you are located shouldn't matter. on your application, you can put down you intend to live in Ontario. for my situation, I put down I intend to live in British Columbia while I was back in my country. hopefully my opinion helps!

Thanks for your reply!
The only reason I'm concerned is because in the CEC application it specifically states that you cannot intend to live in Quebec. That's why I was worried! I don't want them to assume that I will stay there and disregard my application as a result...

yeah, just make sure you put on your application that you intend to live in Ontario and you should be fine! good luck!

Thanks! Where in the application does it ask where you intend to live?

Thanks! I completed that without even realizing!
And did you put your home address as a mailing address? It shouldn't matter right?

I'm applying from my country so that's the mailing address I'm using. It shouldn't matter.
