I have been planning to get vocational study(DVS/DEP) in Quebec and apply for permanent residency there. I'm trying to figure out whether I can stay in Quebec after graduation on post graduate work permit until I receive PR in case I can not find a job.
My question is "does anyone know if I can get the post graduate work permit after graduating a 1 year program in a vocational school?"
For post graduate work permit, I read the program of study has to be programs in post-secondary institutions, trading/vocational schools, etc.
What's confusing is this:
vocational program in Quebec is at secondary level. However, most programs offered in vocational schools in Quebec seem equivalent to those in colleges in other provinces. It's just that Quebec has a unique educational system.
Does anyone know if one can get pgwp?
Thanks in advance...
